Navelink Industry Consortium

Navelink is a non-profit industry consortium, offering an industrialized and governed open infrastructure for secure digital information exchange within the maritime sector.

Navelink was constituted by Kongsberg, Saab and Wärtsilä in December 2019. Today it is owned by Kongsberg and Wärtsilä, and governed by Combitech.

Our goal is to reach a new global standard enabling scalable maritime information exchange. This aims to improve efficiency and safety within the maritime sector and to decrease its environmental footprint.

Collaboration across the maritime community is essential to achieve this goal. We welcome all maritime actors interested in participating or gaining further information to contact us.

At it’s core the Navelink infrastructure is based on the Maritime Connectivity Platform – MCP (www.maritimeconnectivity.net) – making Navelink an Endorsed MCP instance provider. The MCP is governed by the MCP consortium, MCC. The MCP consortium endorses MCP instance providers and maintains all standards relating to MCP, ensuring interoperability between MCP instance providers.

Navelink follows the EU sanctions and have taken actions according to these. For questions: info@navelink.org
